About
Hand-drawn illustrations inspired by places and memories
Hi, I'm Jitesh Patel, a London-based illustrator specialising in hand-drawn maps, architecture and travel-inspired artwork.
For over 20 years I've worked with design agencies, publishers and businesses, creating illustrations for editorial features, branding, campaigns and bespoke commissions. Alongside commercial work, I create personal projects inspired by the places I visit and the architecture that surrounds me.
My Story
My journey into map illustration began with a personal gift.
I created an illustrated map that celebrated the places two people had shared together. What started as a thoughtful keepsake soon became a passion for capturing memories through illustration.
Today I continue that idea by creating detailed maps, architectural illustrations and sketchbook drawings that celebrate neighbourhoods, favourite buildings and the small details that often make a place special.
Sketchbooks & Travel
Whenever I travel, I take a sketchbook with me.
From the streets of London to cities across Europe, I draw on location to capture the atmosphere, architecture and everyday life that photography often misses. Many of these sketches later inspire the prints and collections available in the shop.
